As a Security Officer Armed Healthcare Patrol in Georgetown, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence and proactive approach will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your armed status allows you to respond appropriately to situations as needed. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, reflecting our commitment to putting people first and acting with integrity.

What Youll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for healthcare locations.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help deter unauthorized access and / or breaches of site-specific policies.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
  • Remain alert to potential security-related hazards and / or emergencies, and respond according to established protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or possess an equivalent qualification.
  • Must possess an armed guard card or armed guard license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Must possess a corrections officer license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Must possess a law enforcement officer license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
