Indiana University Health Medical Group South Region , part of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Indiana,is seeking an Advanced ImagingCardiologist to join a well-established and collegial team. Practice medicinein a university community within adiverse cultural environment, located in beautiful Bloomington, Indiana. Experience or training in Nuclear, TEE, CT and Cardiac MRI is required. Position Highlights :
Full-Time; Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm(with 1 day off every other week)
20% inpatient and 80% outpatient with 24 / 7 APP coverage
Weekday call; 1 : 7-1 : 8 for weeknights, 5-6 weekends / year and 1 holiday
Clinical outpatient (only) outreach to other location(s) 1 day per week
Participate in teaching opportunities with medical students and residents
Qualifications :
Fellowship training in Cardiology, required
Advanced Imaging Fellowship, required
Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
Visa sponsorship available; H-1B and J1
The ideal candidate will support the growth of our cardiovascular program including but not limited to; robotically assisted mitral valve repair, TAVR, Watchman procedures, MitrClip and a busy EP lab. Our program performs ahigh-volume number of echoes, and nuclear studies, and a growing number ofCCTA and CMR. PET is anticipated to be offered in the upcoming months.
