until filled BASIC FUNCTION (BF1) : To provide direct administrative and clerical support to the administration that contributes to the effective and efficient operation of the campus. To provide clerical support as needed and manage support services in order to enhance the effectiveness of personnel, promote the overall efficiency of the campus, and maximize the educational opportunities available to each student. To provide animated hospitality to all customers, guests, students, staff, and stakeholders of the Fairfield Community School District; to be brand ambassadors and ensure that all stakeholders have an invitational experience.

HIRING SPECIFICATIONS (HS1-17) :
ABILITIES (A1) :
This position will require physical demands that include constant standing, walking, reaching, pushing / pulling, lifting under 70 pounds, and carrying items at least 35 feet. There will be frequent climbing of stairs and manual dexterity tasks. There will be occasional sitting and driving. The working conditions will be constantly inside / outside with extremes of temperature and humidity.
KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION (KE1-2 and KED1-3) :
Required :
High School Diploma or GED
Eighteen (18) years of age or older
Meet requirements for trainings / screenings and professional learnings set by the district and State of Iowa
Meet or exceed pre-employment evaluation
Desired :
Successful work or volunteer experience with students and children
Supervisory experience with school age children
Experience working in in a clerical / administrative assignment
