About The Position

Job Title : Card Cath Technologist

Profession : Technologist

Specialty : Cardiac Cath

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : AM

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum years of experience required.

License : BLS, ACLS

Certifications : CCI-RCIS or ARRT RT

Must-Have :

Basic EKG interpretation skills (must pass facility EKG test)

Sterile technique experience

Hemodynamic monitoring skills

Fluoroscopy with C-arm and table and image processing experience

Proficiency with electronic health records

Ability to assist the physician during percutaneous procedures (cardiac and vascular) in a sterile environment

Ability to learn and operate various equipment and products required for cardiac and vascular procedures

Description :

Position involves working in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

The job requires rotating on-call shifts 1-2 days a week and weekend call every 3-4 weeks, depending on staffing.

Dress code consists of burgundy scrubs.

Candidates must be able to learn quickly and adapt to the fast-paced environment of a cardiac cath lab.
