Job Description

As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Site - Part Time in Rochelle, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more.

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all employees and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide excellent customer service and clear communication. This role requires a valid driver's license and adherence to AU driver policy requirements, as you may be responsible for driving during your patrol duties. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. The work environment may include food and beverage production areas, warehouses, and exterior grounds.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or activities within the location.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols or while on duty.
  • Collaborate with client staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a professional presence and assist with security-related needs specific to the food and beverage environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required for driving positions in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
