Summary and Attributes :
The Event Supervisor is responsible for the on-site execution, coordination, and supervision of sports tournaments and special events hosted at the facility. This role ensures that all events run smoothly, safely, and professionally, while delivering an exceptional experience to athletes, spectators, coaches, and partners. The Event Supervisor acts as the primary point of contact during events, leading support staff and collaborating with operations and guest relations members.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the event space during events
- Lead, coach, and inspire team members during events
- Collaborate with other supervisors when needed
- Serve as court attendant or in field maintenance during low-volume events
- Reports incidents, accidents, and any damage to the Event Manager
- Regularly inspect and empty trash cans
- Assist with guest relations and provide excellent customer service to guests
Serve as venue Manager on Duty during low-volume events
Qualifications :
Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as neededMust have a valid Georgia Driver’s LicenseMust be able to follow all policies and proceduresExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly flexible and adaptable to continuous change and growthMust possess a positive attitude
Education and Experience :
Prior experience in a supervisory role is preferred.Prior experience in the sports industry is a plus.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task projectsHave strong problem-solving abilities with quick decision makingMust be proficient with Microsoft Office processing programs Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookAbility to work independently while exercising good judgmentMaintain a positive customer service mindset during events, particularly under stressful conditions
Work Environment :
Majority of work performed in a sports facility, both indoors and outdoorsFast-paced, dynamic setting with multiple events happening simultaneouslyConstant exposure to loud noiseWeather may affect surroundings
