- Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, diagnose conditions, and provide effective treatment services to patients.
- Order necessary diagnostic tests, review results, and communicate findings to patients in accordance with clinic procedures.
- Refer patients to appropriate specialists when their healthcare needs exceed your scope of practice.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all patient care and education provided in their health records, adhering to clinic policies.
- Stay current with medical knowledge and standards through ongoing education and professional development.
- Understand and comply with relevant legislation and standards in General Practice.
- Maintain all required certifications.
- Practice medicine in alignment with the clinic's values and mission.
- Deliver services with courtesy and respect, considering the cultural beliefs and needs of patients.
- Address and follow up on patient complaints and feedback promptly and openly.
- Work collaboratively with staff to ensure patient needs are met, including roster management and coverage.
- Complete necessary documentation, such as medical reports, in a timely manner.
- Report incidents or events following professional standards and clinic policy.
- Utilize computer systems effectively for data entry and recall systems.
- Collaborate with community and secondary service providers, as well as local hospitals, nursing homes, and hostels.

- Qualifications / Training :
- An MD / DO degree, currently licensed in
- California
- , with Board certification in clinical discipline, is required
- Minimum of five years of experience, with increasing responsibilities in clinical practice treating patients.
- Experience with utilization and quality management, as well as physician practice management
- Advanced management degree or board certification in medical management desired
- Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed to practice in California.
