Senior Network Engineer (Zionsville)

Our client is a rapidly growing insurance holding company. We are looking for a senior network engineer to join their IT team and support our growing business. As a senior network engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining our Cisco SD-WAN network across multiple locations. You will also troubleshoot network issues, optimize network performance and ensure network security. We are looking for someone that has network experience within a cloud environment who can lead networking responsibilities in a very large transformation happening across this company's infrastructure

You should have at least five years of experience in network engineering with the below areas :

1. DNS Management :

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of DNS infrastructure.
• Manage DNS zones, records, and configurations to ensure efficient resolution and optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve DNS-related issues, including DNSSEC and DNS caching.

You should also have strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as a self-starter personality that can work independently and proactively. This is a contract to hire role and with full remote flexibility looking for this individual to travel once a quarter on- sight. Compensation : $65 / hr to $85 / hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
