Position Summary : Coordinate and administer common carrier shipments to McLane distribution centers across the US using most cost effective transportation methods. Assist with transportation department activities as it pertains to DOT drivers, fleet and FSMA (food safety transport) training and compliance.

Responsibilities :

Working Relationships : Maintain strong working relationships with all Transportation Department and WDC Team Members.

Requirements :

Minimum Education : High School Diploma or GED equivalent Preferred Education : Associates Degree and / or related job experience Minimum Experience : 1-2 years related experience Preferred Experience : 3-5 years related experience Licenses / Certifications : Soft Skills : Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft 2010 word, excel and power point. Ability to work as a member of a team. Technical skills with software applications. Problem solving ability Other : Driving / Fleet Vehicle Requirement : Travel : Physical : Hours & Conditions : Five day work week. Hours 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm Other : Work schedule and hours subject to change based on needs of business
