The Product Engineer works closely with the customer, sales and design engineering team in the development of customized product and that satisfy specific customer requirements. This individual will facilitate customer discussions, review the product requirements and determine how best to utilize existing designs and new custom approaches to provide high quality, cost effective product solutions. This role requires effective communication skills, innovative problem solving, and balance the needs for high quality, cost effective, and timely solutions.

Candidate's primary responsibilities include the following :

• Develop unique, customer specific engineering solutions for client medical device product lines. Focus will be on developing well-designed, manufacturable, cost effective solutions.
• Provide technical oversight to manufacturing team. Responsible for design solution and approval of ETO (engineer-to-order) applications.
• Support the Customer Service by troubleshooting field issues and developing cost effective resolutions that ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in developing and maintaining team quality procedures.
• Develop core template design solutions and guidelines to serve as the design basis for repeat ETO design needs.
• Work with sales to identify opportunities for enhancements.
