Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • ARRT
  • State Radiology License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA

    • Skills & Responsibilities

  • Operate mammography equipment to perform diagnostic breast imaging procedures safely and accurately.
  • Prepare patients for mammograms by explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns.
  • Position patients correctly to ensure high-quality images while minimizing discomfort.
  • Maintain up-to-date certifications in IEMA and Basic Life Support (BLS) per AHA or American Red Cross standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines to protect patients and staff.
  • Review images for quality and accuracy , alerting radiologists to any abnormalities or need for additional views.
  • Document and maintain patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members including radiologists and nurses to support patient care.
  • Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on mammography equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
