Griffin Memorial Hospital in Norman, Ok is currently recruting for Food Service staff.

Sanitation :

  • Shifts are 8 hours in duration.

    • Pay  Level I :

  • $14.66 / hourly Level II : $15.63 / hourly Benefits Allowance, earn 15 days sick AND 15 days annual leave per year, up to 7% 401k match Scheduled days : Varies - 8-hour shifts / 5 days a week (40-hour workweeks) This position is non-exempt.

    • Posted until filled Minimum Qualifications and Experience :

  • Level I :  No experience required.

    • Level II :

  • one year of experience in a commercial or institutional food service or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of vocational or technical school training in food preparation for the required experience.

    • Special Requirements :

  • Upon a conditional offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of lifting / carrying 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently and able to push and pull a maximum force of 50 pounds.
  • Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.
