Job Highlights

  • Inspect properties damaged by various perils, including wind, hail, water, lightning, fire, and more
  • Travel at least 70% of the time throughout the United States, including overnight travel
  • Drive to properties to conduct on-site inspections and evaluate damages.
  • Review policies and endorsements to determine coverage
  • Prepare damage estimates using the Xactimate program
  • Settle claims on-site directly with customers
  • When travel or weather conditions prevent on-site inspections, handle claims remotely using the ClaimsX Video Collaboration platform

Candidate Profile

  • Valid driver’s license required; must be at least 21 and reside within 50 miles of Houston, TX
  • Must be able to interview in-person in the Houston area between November 11th–13th
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills; prior adjusting experience and Xactimate proficiency preferred
  • Willing and able to travel up to 70% nationwide, including overnight trips
  • Physically capable of carrying a 50-lb ladder and accessing roofs up to a 6 / 12 pitch
  • Strong critical thinking, organization, and attention to detail for accurate damage assessment and claim resolution
  • Additional Information

  • 10-day on / 4-day off schedule with 12-hour workdays year-round
  • Sign On Bonus : You may be eligible for a $1000 Licensing Sign On Bonus if you have the applicable active licenses needed for this role (Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Texas License, and / or applicable Appraiser License)
