We are looking for a Customer Delivery Manager (CDM) to join our team. The CDM position is a post-sales role that is customer facing, representing NFS to government customers. The CDM role entails working directly with end customers and in a consultative manner with other members of NFS (sales / pre-sales etc.), and Nokia business and product groups to deliver customer specific projects involving Nokia’s products. We are looking for a CDM, who has extensive network deployment experience with Nokia wireless networks, encompassing RAN, core and transport.
About the Position
The Customer Delivery Manager (CDM) position is a post-sales role that is customer facing, representing Nokia Federal Solutions (NFS) to government customers. The CDM has cross-BG project portfolio accountability for customer delivery within NFS. The CDM is the executive interface for customer delivery experience and escalation point for delivery execution inside NFS and has a prime role taking care of overall customer satisfaction, and aggregates NFS financials including revenues, sales margin, costs and cash collection of HW, SW and Services. The CDM is also responsible for liaising with the individual Nokia BG PMs assigned to cross-BG projects.

As part of our team, you will be :
- Accountable for seamless Customer Delivery (including HW, SW and Services) with medium / large business volume and / or medium / high complexity
- Executive customer interface for NFS delivery, taking care of overall Customer satisfaction (CPVi / CES), to remove the complexity of 4 networks delivery organizations in Nokia. Improve effectiveness of E2E and multi-BG project governance and avoiding escalations. Increase transparency of delivery performance across Nokia’s offering.
- Responsible for contracted business and aggregated customer financials. Responsible for NFS contracted business aggregated financials (revenues, sales margin, costs and cash collection of HW, SW and Services).
- Delivery accountability in line with contractual commitments and project handover. CDM leads x-BG delivery governance, towards the customer and internally in NFS / Nokia, leveraging existing BG governance practices to ensure efficiency and avoid duplication. Empowered to work across the Nokia organization especially with CO, BGs and BG Delivery managers towards executing customer deliveries in line with contractual commitments and project handover. Identifies business opportunities i.e. upsell and coordinates with sales / pre-sales.
- Accountable for project portfolio performance and services performance reviews. Leads x-BG delivery parts of review meetings. Chairs x-BG Governance on project execution performance reviews, both externally with the customer and internally. For project specific governance, CDM is expected to regularly align with Nokia BG Delivery Managers on project related issues and updates.
- Guiding and securing delivery resourcing. Empowered to steer forecast and performance management work with Nokia BG Delivery teams or third-party service vendors, as required.
- Project feedback and escalation. Provides performance feedback on meeting the commitments made by Nokia BGs and third-party service providers. Manages and resolves internal and external delivery escalations with the target to reduce their number, in coordination with the relevant Nokia BGs and third-party service providers. Supports the definition of performance KPIs for projects and delivery, in line with the required deliverables and commitments.
- Need to be able to work independently, and as a team member, and be responsible for acting as the technical lead when dealing with customers.
- Need to be energetic, results-oriented, and a self-starter.
- Travel : This position will require travel, 10% to 20% of the time.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.At least 10 years’ relevant project management experience in telecom industry, government, or equivalent military experience.At least 8 years relevant experience in project managing complex wireless deployments (RAN, core and transport)Fundamental understanding of end-to-end wireless technology (LTE / 5G) and network components (RAN, core and transport)Basic understanding of the products that comprise Nokia’s wireless solution :o RAN i.e. AirScale

PMI (Project Management Institute) PMP (Project Management Professional) certifiedIdeally, PMI DASSM (Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master) or DASM (Disciplined Agile Scrum Master) certifiedSecret level security clearance, or the ability to obtain one.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Note : This position is only open to U.S. citizens, who can obtain at least a Secret level security clearance, given the nature of our customer.
