Job Description Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide reference assistance to students in person, and remotely by using online databases and / or printed resources. This individual will staff the Reference Desk, provide outreach planning and implementation, and / or lead Library Instruction sessions to classes and groups as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in Library Science or Information Science.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Knowledge of the library reference interview.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of library instruction.
• Ability to work nights and weekends when needed.
