Seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer (5+ yrs) skilled in Selenium WebDriver, BDD (Cucumber / Gherkin), Java / Python, and CI / CD integration (Jenkins / Git / Azure DevOps) to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks ensuring software quality and reliability.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer to join a dynamic and fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our automated testing infrastructure to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will play a crucial role in the software development lifecycle, working closely with developers and product teams to implement a robust and scalable automation strategy within a CI / CD environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable test automation frameworks and scripts.

Author and execute automated test cases using Selenium WebDriver for web-based applications.

Implement and enhance the testing process within a Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) environment using Cucumber.

Integrate test automation suites into the CI / CD pipeline (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) to support continuous testing.

Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand requirements, refine acceptance criteria, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution using tools like JIRA.

Actively participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies, providing input on quality best practices and testing strategies.

Maintain test code and resources in a version control system (e.g., Git).

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

5+ years of proven experience in a QA Automation or SDET role.

Strong, hands-on proficiency with Selenium WebDriver for test automation.

Demonstrable experience with BDD frameworks, specifically Cucumber and Gherkin.

Solid programming skills in an object-oriented language, preferably Java or Python.

Experience with integrating automated tests into CI / CD pipelines.

Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with API test automation using tools like Postman or libraries like REST Assured.

Familiarity with performance testing concepts and tools (e.g., JMeter).

Experience working in a cloud-based environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
