Lead Product Manager
LaSalle Network has partnered with an innovative and fast-growing startup company looking to bring a Lead Product Manager onto their team. This is a high-impact opportunity for a strategic, execution-focused leader who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and is ready to help shape the future of a growing product organization.
As Lead Product Manager, you'll work directly with the CEO and senior leadership to translate vision into actionable strategy, guide product direction, and ensure cross-functional teams are aligned and delivering value. You'll also mentor and collaborate with another Product Manager who owns specific areas of the platform.
What You'll Do
- Lead product strategy and execution : Drive product initiatives from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Translate vision into action : Refine high-level, creative input into clear, executable product strategies and roadmaps.
- Own and evolve the roadmap : Define priorities, set timelines, and communicate plans across teams and stakeholders.
- Guide cross-functional teams : Partner closely with engineering, design, and leadership to manage deliverables and ensure timely execution.
- Mentor product team members : Provide guidance and support to other Product Managers, fostering collaboration and consistency.
- Champion the customer : Use research, interviews, and analytics to ensure we're solving real problems and delivering meaningful value.
- Measure impact : Define KPIs, track performance, and iterate based on data and feedback.
What We're Looking For
6+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated leadership and ownership of strategic product initiatives.Proven ability to execute in unstructured environmentsyou know how to move forward even when things are unclear.Strong communication and emotional intelligenceable to navigate high-energy interactions with professionalism and confidence.Comfortable pushing back on "moonshot" ideas and setting realistic timelines.Experience with web, desktop, and / or mobile applications.Familiarity with Agile methodologies (flexibility over rigidity).Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a bias toward action.Bonus Points
Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.Background in a technical role or hands-on familiarity with software development.This is a full-time, onsite position based in downtown Chicago. The role offers a base salary of $120,000$140,000, depending on experience, along with a discretionary annual bonus. Employees receive 13 paid holidays and 2 weeks of PTO.
