job_description.job_card.job_descriptionGreet walk-in and over-the-phone guests promptly with genuine, helpful enthusiasm to determine their needs. Maintain strong product knowledge to assist guests with sizing, flavors, pricing, promotions, etc. Process guest orders efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale system. Maintain a clean, organized bakery presentation (including routine cleaning). Restock retail merchandise and cake display case to ensure strong visual presentation. Assist the Crafter in preparation of cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed. Comply with health and safety guidelines and Nothing Bundt Cakes policies and procedures. Maintain consistent work attendance and punctuality. Applicant must be 18 years of age or older. No experience required; on-site training provided. Prior experience in retail, bakery, or restaurant settings is a plus. Must be available to work 30-40 hours per week with various shifts Monday-Sunday (Full Time). Must be available for various weekday shifts between 8 : 30 AM and 7 : 00 PM. Must be available to work a minimum of 2 Saturday shifts per month between 9 : 30 AM and 6 : 00 PM. Must be available to work a minimum of 2 Sunday shifts per month between 10 : 30 AM and 4 : 00 PM. Must be able to work additional hours during holiday seasons as needed (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, etc.). Strong interpersonal skills; friendly, helpful, positive, patient, and able to communicate well with others. Enjoys interacting with people to provide superior customer service. Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail. Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Basic math skills and ability to provide monetary change using U.S. currency. Ability to operate a point-of-sale system. Ability to assist customers over the phone. Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs if needed. Employees at franchised Nothing Bundt Cakes locations are employed by the franchise owner / operator and are not employees of Nothing Bundt Cakes Corporate.
