Business Development Manager – Spring
Must have Out of Gauge, Breakbulk, and Project sales experience
- Minimum 5 year experience in outside sales specific to Out of Gauge | Breakbulk cargo
- Prefer this experience to be with a Freight Forwarder | NVOCC
- Proven sales track record closing new business
- Stable work history
- Able to create a sales pipeline, identify targets, preplan (weekly | monthly) and execute in an outside sales environment
- Able to set sales goals and objectives, create a plan and execute that plan
- Communicate effectively with operations team, leadership, vendors and customers
- Full understanding of the sales cycle from A to Z
- Full understanding of operations, transportation and compliance
This full time position would be based in our Houston Service Center (located in Spring). Operations, transport, service, procurement and inside sales would be handled in our Houston office. After the ‘on – boarding’ period the position would be mostly remote with an office day once per week at a minimum.
