Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with active state licensure and BLS certification for a Monday-Friday day shift rehab position.

Responsibilities

  • Work setting involves rehabilitation therapy as a Physical Therapist
  • Full-time day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.
  • Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
  • Proof of immunizations including MMR, Varicella, Polio, Hepatitis B, TDaP, COVID-19 vaccine, and Flu vaccine (seasonal) is required
  • Negative 2-step Mantoux or QuantiFERON Gold required within one year of start, with documentation of chest x-ray if positive
  • Respiratory Fit Test required within one year of start; can be provided if not available
  • Completion of employment health, physical, and 10 panel drug screen required before start
  • Background checks required for all states of previous licensure and residency within past 7 years
  • Completion of CareLearning education modules is required prior to start
  • Resume and two recent employment references required for consideration

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy required
  • Physical Therapy board certification and current active state license required (license required if applicable)
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
  • Ability to provide proof of required immunizations, health screening, and background checks prior to start
  • Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certificates (Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse) required; must complete CareLearning modules if not already certified
