Bank Marketing Director Position Summary

The Marketing Director is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to promote the bank's brand, attract new customers, and retain existing clients. This role will oversee marketing campaigns, digital marketing efforts, community outreach, and brand management to ensure the bank's growth and community engagement.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the bank's goals.

Conduct annual in market meetings to strategically plan and map marketing strategies to achieve market-specific goals in conjunction with the market and retail leaders.

Collaborate with internal departments to promote products, services, and community initiatives.

Maintain and enhance the bank's brand image within the communities we serve; ensure brand consistency across all customer touchpoints.

Build relationships and remain visible in the communities we serve through sponsorships, events, and partnerships to increase visibility and trust.

Develop and implement financial literacy programs and workshops tailored to different age groups and income levels. Partner with local organizations, schools, and community centers for delivery of financial literacy programs to reach diverse audiences.

Oversee digital channels including websites, social media, and online advertising. Develop campaigns to attract and retain customers.

Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitors to inform marketing strategies.

Develop initiatives to improve customer engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty.

Effectively manage the marketing budget, track campaign performance, and optimize ROI.

Requirements

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business-related field preferred; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a marketing role, preferably in financial services or community banking.

Skills and Abilities :

Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving and business analytic skills; self-starter capable of prioritizing effectively and meeting multiple deadlines.

Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to understand procedures, write reports, and instruct others.

Interpersonal skills to professionally represent the bank with clients and potential clients.

Diplomacy and confidentiality in internal and client interactions.

Resourcefulness, innovation, and organizational skills.

Leadership and team management capabilities.

Ability to analyze data and develop strategic insights.

Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO / SEM, email marketing, social media, and web analytics.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position supervises staff according to bank policies and laws, including training, performance appraisal, and conflict resolution.
