The Aerospace Corporation is charting a bold new path, focusing on cutting-edge technologies to deliver critical capabilities to diverse end-users, including warfighters and astronauts. The company is seeking an accomplished mission-focused leader to serve as the next Executive Vice President (EVP) and trusted partner to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Aerospace Corporation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Engage with senior-level government, industry, and commercial partners as well as the Board of Trustees
  • Provide strategic leadership across multiple mission portfolios; facilitate enterprise alignment, collaboration and integration across programs and technical domains to deliver enterprise solutions
  • Own and execute a workforce plan that delivers and anticipates mission needs
  • Lead a high-performing technical workforce and leadership team
  • Identify and pursue new customer opportunities, make key technical decisions to include financial investments
  • Qualifications :

  • Active Top-Secret / SCI clearance
  • Technical degree in engineering, physical sciences, or related discipline
  • 10+ years of executive leadership experience with established senior-level relationships in commercial space, aerospace, defense, national security, or government
  • Proven leader at building, developing, leading high-performing technical leaders and organizations
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution with proven results
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence
  • Savvy to the external landscape with demonstrated ability to translate and shape internal strategies and initiatives
  • Demonstrated success at leading transformational organizational change
