Within our unit we have : 40-MB rooms15-LDR rooms 14-High Risk Antepartum8-bed OBED unit4-LIBC Birthing Suites4-Pre Post Rooms 3-OR suites (where we circulate all of our own casesWithin our unit we also have Full time Lactation Consultants who see both inpatient and outpatients. Mercy OKC is the leading delivering hospital in Oklahoma City and second leading in the Ministry. Our teams offer a comprehensive suite of services at the Love Family's Women's Center. Nurses are expected to maintain competencies in Labor & Birth, Antepartum, and OB Emergency Department, and may be assigned to float between these departments based on patient care needs.Qualifications : Education : Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing programLicensure : Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and / or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.Physical requirements / demands : Position requires individuals to push, pull, and / or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform dutiesCertifications : Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
