The Enterprise Program Manager - Certified is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of enterprise-impacting strategic programs comprised of high complexity projects by developing and implementing program strategies, managing budgets, timelines, and resources, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve overall strategic goal and align with organizational vision; coordinating various projects to ensure smooth delivery and meet milestones. This role is responsible for the end-to-end charge of programs, from shaping the approach to achieving the desired outcomes through delivery and post-delivery value realization. May manage primarily strategic programs tied to enterprise strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning : Develops the overall approach for strategic programs, significant time frames, and the definition of major deliverables to address and meet the desired goals and outcomes. Defines scope, and deliverables, creating a comprehensive program plan, and aligning it with the company's strategic vision.
- Team Leadership : Motivate and guide teams, build consensus, and make informed decisions.
- Budget Management : Monitors program budgets, tracking underlying project expenses for equipment, supplies, and contracted services, while working closely with the finance department to ensure financial compliance and cost-efficient program execution. Identifies cost variances and takes corrective actions to stay within budget constraints.
- Communication Management : Communicates and strategizes with executive sponsors to formulate meeting agendas. Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to all levels of leadership. Facilitates communications and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders to address program-related concerns and obtain necessary approvals.
- Performance Monitoring : Leads review with the executive sponsor and stakeholders to identify program needs and changes and directs appropriate approaches to address. Tracks program metrics and analyzes performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Program Coordination : Manages significant bodies of work as a unified program, assigning tasks to team members, and monitoring progress against timelines.
- Risk & Issue Management : Identifies potential risks and develops mitigation strategies to address them proactively. Addresses issues, resolves competing priorities and escalates conflicts when appropriate.
- Resource Allocation : Optimizes resource utilization across programs within the program, including budget management and personnel allocation.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Builds and maintains relationships across the wider stakeholder community and regular interaction with executive sponsors to inform, alert, negotiate, and maintain a shared vision for program outcomes.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Monitors and coordinates dependencies across programs and works with diverse teams from different departments to ensure program execution.

Education
Required : Masters Degree in a relevant disciplineExperience
Required : 10+ years in a project management role, 5+ years as a project manager, 5+ years as a program managerLicensure / Certification / Registry / Listing
