- Assignment Length : 13-week travel contract (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 – End : 2 / 9 / 2026)\n
- Schedule : Monday–Friday, 5x8 hour day shifts\n
- Hours per Week : 40 (36 guaranteed)\n
- On-Call : Rotating on-call (evenings, weekends, holidays; 7–9 days / month; 20-minute response time required)\n
- Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100–$2250\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Utah or compact state\n
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program\n
- Current BLS certification (required)\n
- Current ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire\n
- Minimum 1 year of recent perioperative or operating room nursing experience\n
- Strong knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques\n
- Solid understanding of patient safety protocols and clinical precautions\n
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing clinical situations\n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills\n
- Physical and emotional stamina to manage emergency and trauma cases, including being the sole OR nurse on call\n
- Willingness to take call and respond within 20 minutes as required for Utah nursing jobs\n\nOperating Room Nurse Responsibilities\n
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures\n
- Circulate in the operating room and assist with a variety of surgical cases (General Surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics including C-sections)\n
- Support Pre-op, PACU, and trauma cases as needed\n
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and sterile techniques in all clinical settings\n
- Advocate for patient safety and best practices throughout the perioperative process\n
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical healthcare team\n
- Respond rapidly and accurately in emergency situations, including trauma cases in the ER\n
