I-State Truck Center is looking for Experienced Diesel Mechanic / Technician(s) for our Sioux City Iowa location. We are currently seeking Diesel Mechanic / Technician(s) to join our team who are specializing in Freightliner, Detroit, Allison, Cummins, CAT products, MTU and more! We are offering highly competitive wages!

Pay Range : Starting at $25.00-$40.00 per hour DOE

Diesel Technicians will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related components in trucks, buses, and other heavy-duty vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, diagnostic skills, and a passion for working with diesel engines.

Diesel Mechanic / Technician Job Duties :

• Responsible for repairing, maintaining diesel engines and diesel components used in various vehicles and diesel equipment.
• Technical degree or certification a plus.
• Accurately and efficiently diagnose complex diesel engine conditions and make necessary repairs.
• Communicate effectively with peers, foreman, and service team regarding those repairs.
• Quality control work performed to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
• Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion.
• Meet requirements for certifications.
