Tool Time Home Solutions is a growing home improvement and handyman company serving Northern Metro Detroit. We specialize in both small residential fixes and full-scale remodeling projects. We are building a network of skilled licensed trade professionals to provide our customers with complete, code-compliant solutions.

We are currently seeking a Licensed HVAC / Mechanical Contractor to join our team as an independent contractor . This is a flexible, project-based opportunity to handle both small service calls and larger remodel-related scopes.

Responsibilities :

Perform residential HVAC and mechanical work, including :

Duct relocations and outlet / register moves

Furnace / AC unit replacements or hookups

Venting, bath fan ducting, dryer vents, and exhaust terminations

Gas piping connections and appliance hookups (as licensed)

Provide estimates and collaborate with our team on remodel projects that require mechanical trades

Ensure compliance with all Michigan mechanical code requirements and local permitting

Communicate professionally with customers and represent our brand on job sites

Submit invoices and documentation as required

Requirements :

Active Michigan Mechanical Contractor License (with classifications covering HVAC / ductwork and gas piping)

Liability insurance & workers’ comp coverage (required for all independent contractors)

Own tools, equipment, and reliable transportation

Experience with both small residential tasks (e.g., bath fan duct runs, outlet relocations) and larger HVAC installs (e.g., furnace / AC swaps, duct system modifications)

Strong knowledge of Michigan codes and permit processes

Ability to work independently and deliver professional results

Willing to travel across to majority of Oakland and Macomb counties

Compensation :

Paid per project as an independent contractor

Competitive rates based on scope, experience, and efficiency

Bi-weekly payment upon invoice submission
