As a patrol unarmed officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, engage with the community, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication while upholding the highest standards of integrity. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $19.57 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Fri 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 30 PM Sat 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Remain observant and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in the enforcement of access control procedures and visitor management protocols as outlined for the location.
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with Allied Universal management and location staff to relay information relevant to security-related matters.
  • Complete required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner according to company and location guidelines.
  • Support emergency evacuation procedures and assist with crowd management as needed during incidents or drills.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
