As a Security Professional Unarmed Retail Mall Patrols in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. Your visible presence and routine patrols support a secure environment while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Monday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tuesday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Saturday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Sunday 08 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activity within the retail environment.

Assist customers, visitors, and employees with directions and general inquiries as needed.

Work collaboratively with retail staff and management to address security-related concerns.

Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities.

Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while on patrol to help to deter theft, vandalism, and / or other unwanted activity.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
