Position
Lockheed Martin is seeking an Entry Level Electrical System Integration / Test Engineer to join the GPS integration and test team within Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations (ATLO). In this role you will participate in the planning and execution of electrical floor operations and will be responsible for developing automated test scripts, procedures, and other documentation needed to conduct spacecraft testing at both the factory and the launch site.
Responsibilities
- Understand and apply the principles and disciplines of spacecraft Test Engineering.
- Author and maintain Automated Test Scripts used to conduct satellite tests.
- Mentor fellow Test Engineers in test script development and Integration and Test processes.
- Plan spacecraft level test flow.
- Support Systems Engineering and Certified Principal Engineers (CPEs) in the verification of test requirements.
- Collaborate with external teams to solve spacecraft and / or EGSE performance issues.
- Support test procedure closure activities in the Automation Framework.
- Plan / Execute specific Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) verification procedures (including RF test systems) and plan / execute nominal electrical procedures / scripts from ground test stations.
- Willing to work overtime and support off shifts and / or weekends in a 24 / 7 operations environment.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field preferred).Assembly, integration and test experience.Ability to develop and execute test scripts and perform tasks equivalent to an Electrical Certified Test Conductor (CTC).Lead and spearhead test planning and execution.Ability and willingness to work overtime supporting off-shifts and weekends as needed.Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a secret security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.Desired Skills
Experienced Test Conductor on Space Vehicle Integration and Test Programs, including Component and System Level Functional and Environmental test.Experience with electrical test equipment such as bench top power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, signal generators.Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings, schematics and specs.Proficiency with a high-level scripting language (Python, PHP, Ruby, etc.) to support automated test script development, debug, and execution.Experience in Space Vehicle Test Operations including test development, test execution, data analysis, and anomaly resolution.Strong technical writing, planning and verbal communication skills; ability to build consensus and strong relationships within the team.Applies advanced technical principles, techniques, theories and concepts; contributes to development of new principles and theories.Experience leading teams through successful test efforts, schedule management and resource planning.Security Clearance and Other Information

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in specified states is $104,500 - $184,115.
