Location : Round Rock, TX 78681 (Central Texas, near Austin)\n

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse\n

Start Date : November 3, 2025\n

End Date : February 2, 2026\n

Duration : 13-week contract\n

Shift : Monday – Thursday, 6 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM (10-hour shifts)\n

Hours per Week : 40\n

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1860 - $2000\n

Unit : Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR), 11 operating rooms\n

Patient Ratio : 1 : 1 nurse-to-patient ratio\n

EMR : Meditech electronic medical records\n

Scrubs : Light blue, provided by facility\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

Active RN license (Texas or compact state preferred)\n

Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience, including all adult open heart and open / endovascular cases\n

Experience with open and endovascular AAA (abdominal aortic aneurysm) surgery\n

Willingness to assist with Cath lab procedures such as TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)\n

At least 1 year of general operating room (OR) experience\n

Preferred : Experience in general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and neurosurgery\n

Trauma and vascular surgery experience is a plus\n

Strong adaptability to different surgical rooms and case types\n

Excellent teamwork, communication, and clinical support skills\n

\n\nCVOR RN Responsibilities\n \n

Deliver direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, maintaining a 1 : 1 nurse-to-patient ratio\n

Assist with a variety of cardiovascular surgical procedures, including CABG, valve surgeries, aortic surgeries, TAVR, TCAR, TEVAR, EVAR, and open vascular cases\n

Collaborate with surgeons, surgical techs, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n

Operate advanced OR equipment, including robotic and endovascular technology\n

Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Meditech EMR\n

Demonstrate flexibility by working in multiple OR rooms and supporting various surgical specialties as needed\n

Mentor and support new graduate surgical techs or RNs as required\n
