Site Supervisor
Allied Universal is hiring a Site Supervisor. The general purpose and function of the Site Supervisor encompasses the professional operation, administration, profitability, and quality assurance of uniformed services for a client's site.
Responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the security function on-site, ensuring contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel are met, maintaining overtime to a minimal requirement, ensuring quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel, performing other operations and related functions, making recommendations for personnel actions, responding to client requests, making emergency notifications, providing direction and instruction to subordinates, making disciplinary action / commendation decisions, making productivity and cost reduction recommendations, making recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders, and making recommendations concerning disciplinary action / commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel.
Qualifications must include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing, ability to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle, one or more of the following : service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard; service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets; minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry; associate's degree or higher in any discipline, being at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed), ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and / or console monitors, demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public, effective oral and written communication, problem solving, active listening, ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively, ability to compile, sort, and interpret data, ability to research, investigate, compile information, ability to mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy, ability to write informatively, clearly, and accurately, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications include meeting basic qualifications for Custom Protection Officer.
