Job Summary :
The I&E Technician position is part of the Maintenance Team. This position coordinates closely with the operations team as customers of the reliability centered maintenance support services. The I&E Technician position reports to the Maintenance manager and this is an hourly paid position that works day shift on a 40-hour weekly schedule. The facility operates on a 24 hour / 7 days per week basis and it is expected that the I&E Technicians will be on call during off hours and the weekends.
Responsibilities
Role Specific Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot, calibrate and repair of electro-mechanical devices that measure flow, pressure, temperature, and levels
- Provide preventive, scheduled, and emergency I&E maintenance support to the facility
- Conduct instrumentation evaluations and troubleshoot for electrical, pneumatic, electronic as well as programmable logic control (PLC) systems
- Ensure to commission instrumentation effective following with repair and replacement
- Conduct tests related to functional performance on instrumentation as needed by facility changes
- Involved in evaluation of instrument performance to identify optimization and enhancement opportunities
- Work closely with plant operations to evaluate both routine and emergency instrument work

2-year degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering Technology or related field3+ years field experience preferredExperience navigating a CMMS requiredPrevious experience operating a forklift preferredExperience wearing required PPE including safety glasses, hard hat, steel toe shoes, gloves, and a respiratorKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
