Position Overview : Join our team as a Clinical Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), where you will coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care tailored to the needs of our diverse patient population. - Implement and coordinate patient care plans, ensuring adherence to established standards.\n
- Maintain professionalism and treat all staff, patients, and families with respect.\n
- Demonstrate effective communication skills tailored to the developmental needs of patients.\n\nMinimum Qualifications : \n
- Education : Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.\n
- Licensure : Current RN license in New Mexico or a Compact state license.\n
- Certifications : BLS certification required, or to be obtained within 2 weeks of hire. Additional certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire.\n\nSkills and Experience : \n
- Current knowledge and skills relating to the age and type of patient population served.\n
- Strong awareness of patient rights in delivering care.\n\nWork Environment : \n
- Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and x-rays.\n
- Work in a well-lit, ventilated, and smoke-free environment.\n
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and emergencies.\n\nPhysical Requirements : Must possess the ability to manage emergency situations, with physical stamina to perform tasks such as prolonged standing, walking, and heavy lifting.
