Piping Designer

Job Overview / Summary :

Seeking a Piping Designer who is responsible for supporting and actively participating in detailed Piping design activities in a variety of offshore and onshore projects.

As a successful candidate, you will be assigned projects and take ownership of designing various onshore / offshore facilities. Final deliverables include items such as Piping Isometrics, Piping Plans, Line List, Tie-Point List and a Bill of Materials.

In this position, you will interface with project managers and other discipline leads to ensure accuracy and consistency across our project deliverables.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Utilize engineering sketches, specifications and supporting documents in the designing, detailing of various Piping system configurations.
• Model Piping using CADWorx using provided project P&ID’s.
• Generate ISO drawings using CADWorx and ISOGen.
• Create equipment models from provided vendor information.
• Create Piping Plans and Section drawings.
• Mark-up P&IDs based on design modifications.
• Produce deliverables utilizing company standards within project-approved schedule & budget.
• Assemble information and reference drawings from a variety of sources.
• Maintain proper file management in accordance with company and industry standards.
• Interact and communicate effectively with clients, engineers, designers, and other office personnel.
