A company is looking for a Database Administrator to manage and maintain web-based data for the Social Security Administration.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and monitor databases supporting SSA program websites to ensure data integrity and security
Perform website maintenance tasks, including updates, bug fixes, and performance monitoring
Lead the consolidation of two SSA websites into a unified platform and develop migration strategies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience in database administration or website management
Proven experience in maintaining and optimizing databases for high-availability websites
Demonstrated expertise in website / database migration or consolidation projects
In-depth knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
Working familiarity with FISMA, Privacy Act, Section 508, and SSA compliance standards
