ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - PCU

Job Details :

  • Work in a 20-bed progressive care unit with mixed level of care including medical surgical and step-down patients
  • Handle short stay patients (less than 24 hour length of stay) with quick turnover
  • Patient ratios of 1 : 5 to 1 : 6 stretch depending on level of care
  • Work with telemetry equipment - all patients hardwired to bedside monitor when telemetry monitoring indicated
  • Use Cerner EMR system
  • Float to other units as needed
  • Every other weekend required, no call required
  • Required certifications : BLS and ACLS
  • Must have telemetry competency and progressive care experience
  • Recent progressive care experience preferred
  • Dress code : Navy and / or white top, navy bottom, all white scrubs acceptable
  • Day shift staffing : 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
  • Night shift staffing : 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs
