Overview of the Office Manager role :
The Office Manager will oversee day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring the office runs efficiently and effectively. This role will coordinate with internal departments, support leadership, manage clerical staff, and maintain compliance with company procedures.
Some of the Office Manager's responsibilities include :
Managing daily office operations and administrative staff to ensure efficient workflow.
Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping functions.
Maintaining office supplies and equipment, ensuring smooth functionality.
Coordinating scheduling, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff.
Preparing and reviewing reports, correspondence, and documentation.
Ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and company policies.
Acting as a liaison between management, employees, and clients.
Preferred Qualifications for the Office Manager :
3+ years of office management or senior administrative experience, preferably in an industrial or environmental services setting.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and office management software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with basic accounting and payroll functions is a plus.
Salary : $55,000 to $70,000
