Job Description :

As a Maintenace Technician 2nd Shift . you will perform a wide range of tasks including installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment, buildings and grounds. You will be responsible for carrying out these duties in line with safety standards to help achieve the site's business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Lubricates and cleans parts. Repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Install special functional and structural parts in devices.
• Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. Starts devices to test their performance.
• Repairs electrical equipment.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Electrical and Hydraulic experience. Previous welding and tool experience.

Towing motor licensure preferred.
