Primary Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance or Testing - Review design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and functionality of products
• End-to-end testing of the application (Functional, Integration, Regression, Performance, etc.)
• Overall knowledge of STLC and SDLC
• Develop in-depth system and application knowledge to provide higher test quality and coverage
• Collaborate as part of the scrum team in grooming user stories and development of acceptance criteria for the user stories. Share and communicate ideas to business, managers, and the team
• Maintaining good quality documentation of test cases and other validations - Document and review test cases and test results with project team to validate that all business and technical requirements have been met and will be covered with our testing process
• Validate the quality of the product and confirm completion of assignments to meet QA / release deadlines
• Build product expertise to identify and build automation test coverage
• Building and maintaining automation frameworks utilizing tools such as Selenium, BDD, etc. Ability to learn new automation tools
• Design, develop and implement automated tests as needed
• Building and maintaining Performance / Load testing frameworks using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or Performance Center
• Writing SQL queries
• Understand the ins and outs of our product and identify gaps
• Analyzes data to identify trends in product quality or defects with the goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects
• Works with less structured, more complex issues
• Serves as a resource for others
