Shipping And Receiving Associate
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping And Receiving Associate to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the efficient processing of distribution orders, maintain high safety standards, and contribute to the overall quality and efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Apply Good Manufacturing Practices in all areas of responsibility.
- Demonstrate the company's mission and values in daily activities.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
- Pick, pack, and ship distribution orders that require a basic skill level.
- Screen shipments for unauthorized devices in accordance with TSA requirements.
- Execute distribution and warehouse system transactions.
- Process all orders according to priority set by Distribution Leader / Supervisor.
- Verify proper storage conditions and temperature monitoring of shipments.
- Load courier trucks using pallet jacks.
- Identify opportunities to improve overall quality and efficiency.
- Engage in daily management and 5S practices.
- Ensure that inventory is properly and safely stored.
- Maintain warehouse safety, security, and neatness.
Essential Skills
High School Degree or GED.Ability to work overtime when necessary.Physical ability to lift a minimum of 40lbs and up to 75lbs.Willingness to spend extended periods walking / standing and handling inventory.Basic computer competency using Microsoft Office applications.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to work in a refrigerated environment with proper PPE.Teamwork within Distribution and across QA, Client Services, and Supply Chain departments.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Forklift experience.Prior distribution / warehouse experience.Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices.Prior pharmaceutical or clinical logistics experience.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Breinigsville, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.35 / hr.
