About the Role :
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. As a BDR, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, playing a crucial role in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. You will be responsible for proactively engaging with prospective clients through various outbound strategies, nurturing leads, and scheduling introductory meetings for our sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong drive to contribute to the growth of a dynamic payment solutions company.
Responsibilities :
Conduct thorough research on competitors, consumer behavior, market trends, and product developments to identify new business opportunities.
Initiate outbound contact with prospective customers through cold calls, email campaigns, and other social strategies.
Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing and product teams to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads and scheduled meetings.
Attend virtual and in-person networking events to build and maintain professional relationships within regulated markets.
Meet and exceed weekly, quarterly, and annual quotas for various metrics, including emails sent, calls made, and meetings scheduled.
Skills & Qualifications :
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information clearly and concisely.
Highly organized with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks.
Ability to develop creative strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
