Schedule : Part-time (afternoon / evening hours)

The Dave & Mary Alper Jewish Community Center (Alper JCC) in Miami is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Custodian / Janitor / Housekeepe r to join our Facilities team. This position plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform daily and deep cleaning of classrooms, restrooms, offices, fitness areas, and community spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect all assigned areas.
• Restock restrooms and supply closets as needed.
• Empty trash and transport waste to designated areas.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Pressure clean outdoor walkways, walls, and other surfaces as assigned.
• Assist with special cleaning projects, event setups, and breakdowns.
• Follow all safety procedures and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Work efficiently, independently, and maintain high attention to detail.
• Collaborate with the maintenance and custodial team to ensure all areas meet JCC cleanliness standards.
