We are looking for experienced Data Architects to join our team for a long-term contract position based in Tallahassee, Florida. In this role, you will design and implement data integration pipelines, ensuring efficient access to critical information within an Azure-based data warehouse and data lake environment. You will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, maintaining data integrity, security, and performance to meet organizational objectives.

Responsibilities :

• Design and develop robust ETL processes to efficiently integrate and transform data from diverse sources.
• Implement automated workflows using Azure Data Factory to streamline data movement and processing.
• Build and maintain scalable data architectures within the Azure ecosystem, including Databricks, Synapse, and Purview.
• Ensure data accuracy and reliability by managing quality validation processes and enforcing data governance best practices.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance, reducing latency and improving throughput to meet organizational KPIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions that align with business objectives.
• Utilize tools like Power BI to create insightful reports and dashboards that support decision-making.
• Embed security measures in data processes to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Monitor and enhance system performance, ensuring the architecture meets stringent performance requirements.
• Maintain documentation for data workflows, ensuring transparency and alignment with governance policies.
• Proven experience in designing and managing ETL processes, preferably within an Azure environment.
• Proficiency with Azure tools such as Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, and Purview.
• Strong background in data integration, transformation, and validation methodologies.
• Expertise in data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI for creating reports and visualizations.
• Solid understanding of database management, data warehousing, and cloud-based data solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to optimize data pipelines for high performance and scalability.
