Utilizing the Medical Model and Nursing Process (Assessment, Panning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and

documents care to neonates in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established Self Regional Healthcare, Self Medical

Group, and Medical / Nursing Policies / Procedures / Protocols and Standards of Care. Coordinates and delegates the care with / to other professionals

and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated to the Neonatologists. Provide family centered care and acts as a clinical resource

person to nursing and medical staff. Performs any other assigned duties per Neonatologists, VP of Medical Affairs, Practice Manager, and Self

Medical Group Administration. Must be licensed to practice as an Advanced Practiced Register Nurse (APRN) in Sought Carolina, must be certified

as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP). Must have prescriptive authority in South Carolina along with Federal and SC DEA Licensure. BLS and

Neonatal Resuscitation program (NRP) certifications required.
