Feeders Supply Holdings, LLC is the parent company for two independent pet supply brands with 67 retail locations in six states. The Human Resources Generalist will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will perform duties normally ascribed to the function including :

Responsibilities

  • Implement and oversee HR policies and procedures included in the Company's employee manual
  • Support hiring managers in talent acquisition (recruiting support) and ATS management
  • Identify compensation trends and make recommendations to attract talent economically
  • Develop a deep understanding of Paychex operating platform to onboard and manage employee benefits
  • Coordinate with Healthcare broker to secure cost-effective, healthcare insurance annually
  • Coordinate with other providers for dental, vision, short and long term disability, life insurance, and workers compensation programs annually
  • Coordinate the open enrollment for benefits annually
  • Manage workers' compensation claims with insurance providers
  • Oversee employee leaves including FMLA and short-term disability
  • Oversee annual reporting compliance including OSHA 300A, EEO-1, ACA, etc
  • Oversee annual performance review process and implementation
  • Provide management with timely information necessary to make strategic operating decisions
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications / Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources management or equivalent combination of practical experience
  • Senior Professional Human Resource (SHRM-SCP / SPHR) certification preferred
  • 5-7 years progressive experience as a Human Resource professional
  • Microsoft Excel skills and a high degree of computer literacy
  • Experience with Paychex a plus
  • Results orientation, accountability, critical thinking, problem solving, project and change management, and team working / building required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Above average written communication skills
  • Self-starter
  • Naturally inquisitive

  • This is an onsite position at our corporate office in Louisville, KY. This is a full-time, exempt position.
