As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $20.05 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Tue 06 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Wed 06 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for an armed patrol post.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and to observe and report any unusual conditions.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents within the government facility environment.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on all incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and local authorities as needed to support security-related operations at the location.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related emergencies, following established procedures for an armed patrol post.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
