Overview
The substitute administrator role provides temporary coverage in an administrator position (Principal, Assistant Principal, Counselor, etc.) and supports the District's instructional program and educational philosophy on a day-to-day basis.

- Provide temporary coverage in an administrator position (Principal, Assistant Principal, Counselor, etc.).
- Be responsible for implementing the District's instructional program and educational philosophy in the designated subject area or grade level, in accordance with district policies and procedures on a day-to-day basis.
- Ensure regular and reliable attendance as an essential job function.
Qualifications
Previous service in an Administrator role (Principal, Assistant Principal, Counselor, etc.). (Former Cy Fair Administrator experience preferred.)Master's degree from a recognized, accredited college or university.Valid, appropriate standard administrator certification for the assignment; Instructional Leadership Development; certified training for teacher appraisal or eligible for such preferred.A minimum of four (4) years of successful experience as a classroom teacher.Visionary leadership in administration to work with faculties, families, and communities of the 21st century.Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to speak, read, and understand the English language.Terms of Employment
Substitutes are employed on an at-will basis and are not considered contractual employees.
Salary
$200 / day - $350 / day depending on assignment

Mental Demands / Physical Demands / Environmental Factors : Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling, and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment.
