The CMM Programmer / Quality Engineer will ensure the correct use of advanced quality planning and engineering to enhance quality, reliability and acceptance of systems, processes and products. Will provide a professional level of quality customer service to both internal and external customers / suppliers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Monitor the performance of the product quality and reliability systems.
- Generate and maintain accurate documentation relating to quality, reliability and process.
- Create CMM programs to support part quality verification.
- Implement detection systems to eliminate problems that affect quality and reliability.
- Prepare and present reports (PPM, Cost of Quality, Client, Process Routing, etc.).
- Develop and implement quality programs including tracking, analyzing, reporting and problem solving.
- Manage and control gauge calibration system.
- Develop control plans and in process inspection records.
- Responsible for creating a process for containment, writing clear instructions and reports.
- Responsible for performing 8-D corrective actions and writing reports for submission to customer.
- Assist in the training of other employees.
- Safely operates all required lifting / moving devices.
- Participates in continual improvement as required.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area at all times.
- Other duties as assigned within the general scope of manufacturing.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
