DevOps Engineer-Vice President

Genesis10 is seeking a DevOps Engineer with our financial services client in Charlotte, NC.

This is a permanent position and is a hybrid work model.

Summary and Responsibilities : Supports applications, systems and services that ensure the our client meets its legal and regulatory responsibilities and obligations in connection with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) efforts.

Expertise in : Develop and support applications in Scala / Python framework.

Strong knowledge of Scala (preferred), Python, Java, R, or similar object-oriented language Create and deploy applications in Azure environment with various interconnected azure components.

Experience with Azure cloud services, Azure Data Factory, Gen 2, Azure Databricks, etc.

Experience in Elasticsearch Advanced working SQL knowledge on relational databases, preferably on MS SQL Server and databases on Azure cloud Experience with the DevOps lifecycle (git, ADO, Jenkins etc.) Experience with Jira / Confluence Experience with Agile methodologies Experience with REST web services and microservice architecture Maintain high customer satisfaction through the delivery of high quality, timely, SLA and solutions to problems.

Communicate effectively and pro-actively with business users, support teams, vendor, and all stakeholders.

Strong solid analytical skills for diagnosing and troubleshooting potential system issues; Sharp mind to process solution with quick turn-around.

Required Skills : 7+ years of practical work experience with software and systems implementation, preferably in the AML, Fraud, Financial crime space.

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or information Systems preferred.
